What’s up with traits

I see a lot of plays ball conservative, plenty of no tight spirals, never covers ball…why?

I feel like plat house call is the most popular ability for DBs but I run gold/plat ballhawks because I like the faster reactions

What does this actually do? skill positions will have high speed cod and bcv but 40-50 returning? does this stat really matter?
