I only tried the 90-94 event. Couldn't make any passes beyond a drag or a screen because even if my players look open, the CPU defenders will super hero speed boost their way to knock the ball out or stop you for a loss. The CPU run defense is the BEST run defense in the history of run defenses, however my bought and paid for run defense plays like a bunch of first year Pop Warners who can't shed blocks or fill gaps. Lol. I'm simply not trying to struggle that much outside of H2H games. At least in H2H the rewards are worth it. If you win the big prize in these events, I think you still have to win the whole event a total of 20 times just to get enough rings to get a free 99. I think I'm avoiding this one like the plague. Lol. They added a 3rd event yesterday which seems to be a mirror of Madden 26's The Run event where you play a certain amount of games (5 for Madden) with difficulty increasing after competing a round of 7 games. It starts on "casual"and I can confirm it is casual on the first level.
Ha, yup, I had a wide open crosser after their DB fell down, the DT mowed down my 99 speed receiver before he could catch it in stride - a few times. Had at least 110-115 speed at 300 lbs.
Fair enough it’s meant to be tough, but for my noob skill level it’s too much. Won the first, lost the 2nd 14-10. Maybe if my user sack fumble didn’t have 5 defenders high jump over the loose ball I may have had a shot - but there are easier ways for an average at best fella to make a living.
3 months of skill vs years …..
