Ahh, I was one of few who got cooked on the egg method.  I lost over 3m on it.

I refuse to pay for anything apart from the season passes as well.  I can afford to but it’s a slippery slope and I figure I’ll draw the line at season passes and that’s it.

I love doing that. Recruit bundles are great to constantly have cards in the market and to refresh 25k every day or so. Then you quicksell the high training cards and hope to get close to 25k back with the remaining. Esp love high kicker and punter cards since they sell for a lot.

I'm gonna start doing it closer to end of the season so I can open a bunch of packs at once, way more fun that way.

Yah fills the need of opening packs for sure. Most times I find i'm making 1.5 million training on the million coin investment, and consistently get a few cards that make sense to sell

There are also a bunch of lower cards that sell for a decent return. Like any of the big Ohio St names, 84/85 overall : Downs, Styles, Smith, all sell for around $10k

How were you doing your egg method? I started by buying 3-4 champs, quickselling for eggs and rolling that into packs. I'd have a couple down runs in a row and start to think the method was cooked, but then i'd do another and pull multiple champ eggs

Only way I got cooked by naively thinking the strat cards would convert over to coins. I'm still sitting around about 100, too stubborn to quick sell for such a lousy return. 

When it comes to spending money, I'm in same boat as you, i refuse to dump money into the game. I purchased the MVP bundle, so got the 4600 pts to use. Those went to pay for the premium pass for the first 3 seasons. The only money I spend beyond that was buying the premium pass for season 4 & 5.

But then EA messed up, and gave me awful reward packs in season 5. Made me question even spending $$ on the premium pass. I havn't bought the premium pass since season 5.
