What does team player chemistry even do?

I have not seen players attributes go down when our of position. Grabbed the overall does but not the skills of them, so what's the point of the team player chem?

Per terminology, an out of position player loses composure, hence the ability to compensate. Obviously it's a video game, but to each their own.
