This Game is turning into the “Takeoff Simulator 25” much like madden became “Stretch Simulator”

Abilities ruined madden, then they ruined FIFA and now they have ruined CFB. Money grab that has ruined the game. Until they are taken out it’s not worth playing any EA game.

I'm not a big fan of the platinum abilities either. I loved when abilities were bronze and silver. They made a difference, but it wasn't game breaking. Platinum abilities (especially ones like Takeoff, Quickjump, Ballhawk, Extender, etc...) feel like Madden which is really unfortunate as I stopped playing Madden because of the crazy OP abilities that turned players into super heroes. 

I dread when we start seeing huge ability discounts. God help us when they drop Randy Moss with 0 AP Platinum Takeoff.

Cover 1 with good corners seems to be fine. If they go empty and it’s working I’ll put both ends in a spy and user one for more coverage. then there’s the classic mid blitz or a few solid ones running a 4-2-5 with speed at linebacker. Definitely not something you can’t counter minus them having a 5k team

And this is the same in FIFA. The silver abilities are just fine. And if you think about it, the silver abilities are just what we used to know as player traits.

But what they’ve done is gone ok, silver ability is what used to be standard. So let’s say makes sideline catches. Silver the player does what they should do, no silver they act like a moron and step out, gold they go super charged and catch shit they have no right to. And the premise is the same across the board.

Just turn the clock back and make players play to their attributes, get rid of stupid chemistry and abilities. You’ll get more variety of team build as well then.

I agree. Now it doesn't matter who the player is, as long as they get good abilities.

Also, to everyone who complains about takeoff: stop playing man coverage every play, and stop pressing. It's that simple. I have never had a gold takeoff run past my outside corner in an outside quarter. Just don't press. It's not that hard.

only thing that works is bumping them on the line. Then it’s regular routes vs coverage again

How is takeoff being OP against regular (zone) coverage? I have yet to see any instance of that
