takeoff counter

how do i counter takeoff? i had a plus 3 speed advantage with 10 yards off man, guess pass and shade overtop and streak cooked it every time. is there an ability to counter this?

You press, takeoff only works when not being pressed

I personally have never seen bronze/silver takeoff work like you describe. I hope that you just have bad luck.

Are you sure you weren't playing close to LOS? Some plays automatically align closer than other plays.

i have +4 speed in squads, 92 speed corners and it's an auto touchdown if I press while shading up and guessing pass so I never press

If I press with my +4 speed corners in squads it's an auto touchdown somehow every time, like blow them 10 yards off the line of scrimmage every time it's crazy, then when i backoff i just get torched by takeoff, especially in the slot

Press and shade outside to stop streaks
