The real question is how Fannin didn't get it. He is all around better than warren statistically and had one of the greatest TE seasons we have ever seen but because he and Nash don't play in power conferences, they don't get a card. It's very stupid. They don't look at players at over looked schools. I am a UVa fan and have watched Jonas Sanker absolutely ball out on an ass UVa team but I doubt he'll get another card after his core rare because he doesn't play for a high profile or super recognizable school.

Stars of the Season is basically a popularity contest. Very rarely will more unknown players win even if they had better seasons. It happens in TOTY in Madden as well. When you leave the decision up to the community, you'll end up with the more popular players rather than the better players a lot of the time.
