I don’t know if it’s just me but I’ve always struggled running the ball other than my qb, I need some help like playbooks and kinda what to look for as I’m trying to shift to a run first play style since I’ve always had a terrible time balancing things, things like playbooks and kind just what kind of runs are the best work for me and would be the best kind of advice (my running backs are Todd Gurley and Ahmad Hardy)
i just do dives and inside zones
A lot of people tend to run Nickel or other pass coverage focused formations. Running heavier 12 or 13 personnel packages will help, but it won't make it automatic. The biggest thing imo is not to be predictable. For example, everytime you come out in a singleback formation, you shouldn't just be running it. Run some passing plays out of that formation. Make your opponent second guess what you're gonna do.

I mean I got the Iowa playbooks, was looking through it and they got some play actions in there too, how much is that gonna help?

It really depends on how much your opponent will fall for it but it doesn't hurt to throw in PA passes as well and see how they react to it.

These are the best Duo playbooks (Offensive line double teams blocker) Notre Dame, Oregon, Iowa St., Michigan St., UCF, Ohio State, Michigan. Michigan has the most at 12 plays. I'm running Bo, Ricky Williams, and Lucky Sutton right now and having a blast with these also the Option playbook.
Iowa does have 5.
One thing is to make sure you aren’t spamming sprint out of the gate. That was and still is one of the hardest things to remind myself of. That and I for some reason find it easier to run towards the near sideline because I never can make it around the edge lol.
Pro set power trip... Put wr in motion and run all day... Strong toss to throw off opponents. I've been #1 in rushing in Madden online several times over the years. And college is no different...

Iowa has a really good direct snap and passing plays out of the same formation.
