RB - advice please

Hey all,

I know this is very subjective - I’m looking for feedback re who you think is RB1 (price be damned).

I’ve been using Bo since he dropped, I’m considering Love or Kaelon Black.

I use DeJuan Williams for 3rd down and certain plays (so good and so underrated)

I run out of all formations - a lot of goal line looks but also power, spread, draws etc.  I don’t use RPO’s or options much.

Any and all feedback welcome.  Do I stick either Bo, switch for one of the other 2 ? Or maybe there’s a guy that suits my style I’ve overlooked ?

From memory I’m using shifty, gold ball security and maybe downhill on Bo.

Jeremiah Love as he gets Plat shifty for 1ap and then all the Gold for 1ap as well. He also moves very smooth. Not 100% sure about his speed boost as I'm not very good at doing it. Lol. But otherwise, I do believe he's RB1 from an AP standpoint. ✌️

Can I ask - what is “speed boost” ?  We aren’t talking simple right trigger are we I assume

I also have been rocking Bo since day 1. Id love to try someone new out. Was hoping Charles was gonna be better. Big let down. Love looks like he'd be a stud.

Something to do with pushing up and to the right/left then immediately pushing up right/left in the opposite direction gives certain players a "speed boost" separate from R2 on PlayStation for example. I've initiated it a couple times on punt and kick off returns, right after I get the ball and the CPU wants to make the player go one way, I go the opposite direction and he boosts for sure for a second. You have to keep doing it though. Similar to the "truck boost" from Madden 25 where you had to keep pushing up on the right stick as you ran, this one works the same way only with the left stick. You have to keep "wiggling" your player as you run. Lol. Pull it up YouTube, you'll see. It's a glitch. ✌️

Same, though it took me 3-4 days to find a Bo at the “right price”.  No way I was paying 2-3m.  I paid around 1.3 and that’s been great value for 3 months of Play.

I've been using Love, ever since I pulled him during the draft promo. I normally prefer the slower power backs, but he's great. Whenever I think about replacing him, it always comes back to how cheap his abilities are, and I don't see anyone able to measure up with that, likely for the rest of the year.

Cheers !  I just bought Love and will test him out.  Kept Bo just in case.  Have loaded Love with abilities.

Oddly, Love was the only 99 locker guy I did not get !  Pulled Bailey normal, then 3 BND ones were Reese, Tate, Mendoza.  I was duper lucky not to pull a duplicate

Funny, I have 7 x 99 RBs, 5 pulled BND , buy thru all play so differently.

You got it mate, hopefully he's good for you.

I had 3 bnd XL lockers, and got Bailey, Reese and Love. Just went after L lockers after that, as the risk of a duplicate was too great lol. Would have liked Tate, but have since gotten Craptree, Collinsworth and Tyson, so it worked out fine.

Black feels a lot like Love to me except he runs a little more angry like Lacy or like a Frank Gore type of runner.  No complaints about him catching out of the backfield either, although I think Love does a little better on wheel routes.  I use a lot of different HBs in my offense, I think I have like 5 in the lineup.  Poor Ron Dayne has been nearly lost in the mix.
