Obviously there is opportunity to make alot of coins this year with cards going up and down on a daily basis. I know the whole buy low and sell high mantra so please dont give me that. But genuinely speaking, what are your tactics: is there a certain day cards are cheap/expensive; are some positions better to focus on; are there distinguishing traits that indicate a card will drop/rise?
I have had some success but its been difficult lately given the market crash

JK, I haven't done it much this year because the few times I have spent money on the game I have had some great pulls (Two Cam Newton pulls when going for 1.8 and pulled two Suh cards minutes after release and sold for like 600K each) and haven't had to work the market too much.
In past years of MUT I would go in when we had multi week promos (Think Zero Chill release 1, 2, 3 etc. or ToTW weekly drops) usually during the drop of a promo the previous week cards drop in price since people pulling packs usually have the card already and are just selling. Sometimes you can see a dip of 100k for expensive cards or 15-20k for inexpensive cards. Buy a few of the cards you can afford and try to be smart about which ones you buy. If there is a really good RT and not a lot of them in the game, buy some and within a few days his price will be back to probably 90-95% of his cost at inital drop.
So x RT releases for Rivals Promo and is worth 300K, next week during the Rivals Promo he drops to 240K in the morning. Buy him and hold a few days. Monitor the price through the weekend and during the day (Higher prices in evenings usually due to scarcity on AH) and try and sell back as close as possible to 300K.
Now you've gotta be careful and it is a risk no matter what. If an even better RT comes out that could tank his price especially if it isn't scarce. Never panic sell, cards usually bounce back in this situation to decently close to your purchase price and you can minimize loss.
I’m not. I’m just playing with my crap 92ovr team full of BNDs with 50/50 TT. Seems like it’s impossible to make coins without buys packs with money and I’m not doing that. Sucks to put TT on a Auction House card unless its a snipe because it’s like paying double for it.

NOPE. It sucks. even if you forget its a BND card, if you remove it to try and sell it and cant because it’s a QS only… you’ve just lost 15k PERIOD.
Winning H2H nattys has been my only way of making real coin. Just be prepared to play some sweaty god squads every championship.

all american solo seasons is the fastest and easiest way to make coins its guaranteed coins and all you have to do is drain the clock vs the cpu best thing they ever put in the game
I made a lot of coins early on sniping limiteds and reselling. I also sold every decent pull I had right away as the values deteriorate. It would be nice if they had certain sets, maybe a "Collectable Set", that required certain cards that would enhance some of the values on cards that are no longer useable in game.
I haven't been buying cards lately because of the volatility. The market was stable for a while and predictable. With the rush promo crashing prices, dropping price floors, new content, it's just too unpredictable. If you have like 1M coins then you can buy some of the most valuable cards at lower prices and flip them as long as you're selling more than 10% than your purchase price. Still risky but probably the most risk aversed way to make good coin with the least time commitment as long as you pay attention to all these new cards that are coming out. But with so much new content the highest priced cards will drop once a better card comes out.
I found success with buying pieces of some sets SUPER cheap with snipes or keeping pack trash and rolling up. Currently sitting on 3+mill from doing this since season 1. It is repetitive but I have found success in it, no matter the market. Just gotta be patient.
i just play the game honestly. if youre good, champs and gauntlet every week. if youre not good, cpu solo seasons.

go over to stats, go to auction stats, and it should have the price you paid for it chilling there if it’s actionable.
100% a bnd card otherwise (unless it’s a pull that you got and never touched the market )
I just grind objectives and solo seasons. If you can find a squads partner/partners, squads SB and playoff runs add up pretty quickly. For example, I pulled LTD RG3 from a Natty pack once.

That’s exactly what I started doing. I just forgot on a few BND Pulls here and there and boy it’s painful haha. I’ve gotten to where I only put TT on BND cards that I know will never be sold haha.
