Why are we limiting options on players you wan't for your team based on Scheme Chems, it is annoying when a promising new LTD or Champ comes out and you can't use the card because they don't match your Scheme Chem. I say we should be able to equip any Scheme Chem for 15K or 25K coins, as we can with Team Chems or at the very least allow us to unlock any Scheme chem that was on a previous version of the card.
Way too early (at least imo & for NMS) to be worried about scheme on cards. Too much separation from top end cards right now.

Basically all of the top players on the game are running 50 Team/50 Scheme. I do not see how NMS players would factor into EA's decision making on this, as they do not effect their bottom line. The lack of a customize-able Scheme bucket is actually costing them money from whales.

I didn’t mean it from a NMS decision by EA.
I just meant the average player isn’t worried about scheme on a card this early in the game

I agree
no bc that would defeat the whole purpose of building a scheme team. and i know ur going to say "they let us change the team chemistry" but they only do that because it would be impossible (atleast for a couple months) for people to be able to get 50 cards of one team naturally. theres too many team for you to naturally build a team based theme team. scheme teams you can naturally build because theres only 6 different schemes.
If you could do that, most of the community would only be using one or two different scheme chems based on the playbook that is most used for OP plays. The same high tier cards would be overpriced due to being the best in their position and unattainable for many casual players. It’d be the same top three every time you load into H2H against a full-time player and just would get repetitive with the best combo of best players with the scheme/team chem. It’d make most scheme chems unusable due to an overused and overpowered boost list on one chemistry better to use for every player. There will always be players that try and stay away from the meta (me included) but will always be at a disadvantage due to these factors. I just wished that they’d do more research into the top 5% of players in the league and put the “correct” scheme chem based upon what their skillset and measurable physical stats are scouted and used for based on the offense/defense that is run on their team
Continuing on…
As an example, a pro style offense uses a lot of motion for their slot and versatile receivers along with the heavy load for a running back, any running back that is used that way irl should have pro style chem.
Receiving backs that are used in a spread offense irl should get their respective archetype as a North/South Receiver for bigger body types or Backfield Threat for the smaller backs as well as the air raid or spread chemistry.
Like I said before, this would only apply for the big names and top 5% of players per postion due to there being so many players that a single team of researchers wouldn’t be able to check every used player in the FBS world.
I hope this wasn’t too much to read and opens some of y’all’s eyes to how much this would be a mistake
I mean it’s simple, if you can equip any team to a player then you should be able to equip any scheme. If anything team shouldn’t be changeable but scheme should be as you could re-train a player on scheme.

It is already this way.

I think they did that for reasons pertaining to small schools not having many big name players. Thats what they claimed last year

It’s not actually, by the end of last year I only saw the same scheme team with same top 3 once maybe twice on different users. That may be because not many people used scheme chems that i played against but still. There’s more variety as it is right now than there would be

I won 3 nattys in the first week because I had scheme team + TT boosts. Problem is I went with Multiple O and we have only got 3 cards in 8 drops. With the best card being an 84 LT.
At the very least they need to make it 20/25 so when my 83 qb isn’t good enough to hit a pass anymore I can use a half decent qb and not lose the +2 speed for my receivers.

Did you pick multiple O too?

Solid reasoning, but what kind of archetypes are gonna be good for Multiple O? Cuz we’ve only got 3 cards in 8 drops
