Has anybody tried this and does it make your linemen perform badly

I’d like to know this as well. I got an underdog C and Booker for LG, then upgraded the UD RG to 98. I put plat strong grip on all 3 and plat 2nd level on Booker. I upgraded the UD coach to high motor OL. All I can say is wow. I can run with ease on meta Ds in the Heisman bracket now. Using Ollie with no abilities no less. This whole time I was convinced OL was just plug and play, but plat abilities in combo with high motor really does seem to be the ticket. Now I want to more OL with discounted abilities to put at each T spot. I’ll be like you option scheme folks

Doesn’t necessarily make them play bad, but it nerfs their awareness and I think awareness is probably one of the more important attributes for OL so I wouldn’t recommend doing it. Plus if you run a scheme/theme team, they won’t get the boosts either if they’re out of position.
