Played at release but took a little break and need help with figuring out how to get a better team. Any tips appreciated

Challenges and certain program objectives are a decent way to get some BND players. For example, the Mainstays objectives, you get an 83+ finishing a week's objectives, and if you finish them all, you get an 87 LT.
