Has anyone found a way to cheese the cpu in the graduation event? Back on CUT after a long hiatus to try and unlock all the crossover rewards and struggling with this one.
Also, have about 1.5 million coins with a pretty outdated team. Any must have players I should scoop?
That event is a nightmare. I've only seen one comment in these forums past 2/3 games. The coding in Al causes the CPU opponent to "cheat". There doesn't seem to be cheese meta to beat it discovered yet. Dinks and dunks don't work. Bombs don't work. Run game is non-existent. You just have to grind and sweat and pray.
I think I saw someone say that some of the games seemed more difficult than others so maybe they aren't all nightmares. I just don't have the patience for the "cheats" the CPU pulls off so go elsewhere to grind xp, like solo seasons. ✌️
Any of the 99/98 Gone Pro players are good additions if you can find them to fit your budget. The AP discounts on those cards are really good.
The What If Promo has tons of good cards at nearly every position.
The new Grad cards get really good AP discounts as well.
You should be able to stack your skill positions pretty good with 1.5 using those promos. Even some LTDs in there selling for their minimums. ✌️
I was struggling in my option. But the Wide formations are great if you have good WRs to really spread them out. I think a fast QB if nothing is open helps a lot too. On defense midblitz is pretty good and goaline base 60 is a little more risky. I run multiple D playbook I also like the 5-2 defense. But they seem to go for the quick hits to the slot and TE. I would user your lber and try to guard against those, but its not fair they make some ridiculous catches.
Do you have a lot of Training? Now that What If... is gone you could get nice pretty fast in the Rewind 70,000 BND packs 96 or 99s. I was trying to pull a BND Alstott and I was hitting 99s like every 3-5 pulls. There is a lot of value out there, it just depends on your most crucial needs.

Don’t have any training, just coins. Would it be better to convert my coins to training and build a team with the rewind BND packs or just purchase the players straight up? Also, what abilities would you recommend using against the cpu?
I almost would just find deals in the auction house there is so much value IMO. I'm really not sure about abilities at least in this event LOL. I have JJ Smith with Heisman Takeoff and Ive only beaten them deep like twice. I load up on Strong Grip on the OLine and I do like Take Off and Cutter on the WRs. But I really like digs, returns, and zigs.
On defense Gripbreaker and Quick Jump on Dline and I'm a big fan of Legion, Robber, and Ball Hawk on DBs...House Call I feel like is a good one to have too.
I hope some others chime in before you spend, there are some really smart CUT players on this forum!!!
I would buy 5 champ what if players at positions u really need and then roll recruit bundles and sophmore packs with the rest, if u pull anything good keep it and then convert the rest into training for the 70k rewind bnd training pack.
