I'm 47 and have about 6000 XP outstanding. Don't think i'm going to make it to 50 unless more challenges come out between now and the end of season 2

Exactly where did you pick this up? Every EA sports game has a UT mode aggressively supported because of the literally millions of additional dollars generated. MUT, for example generates far more than sales of the Madden game itself.
CFB25 is very polished for a new release, probably the most polished EA football title I've played in 20 years. EA invested HEAVILY to produce the title. Given licenses and the number of teams included, it couldn't have been cheap. Thus not optimizing potential revenues from CUT seems like business mismanagement to me as a longtime businessman.
I also think the smart play is to spread the releases of CFB and Madden out further. Madden dropped right on the heels of CFB and apparently stole the audience. Perhaps the lack of CUT support is because too many players migrated to Madden.
Since Dynasty does not presently provide the ability to export graduating classes to Madden's Franchise mode, I failed to see a motivation to buy both so I committed to CFB this year. As a UT honk, that is appearing to have been a mistake.
