Grateful for not playing MUT

Once Madden started leaning heavily into the abilities/xfactors running everything, I stopped playing it. I think it just made the game feel way too over the top and even more arcady than these games already are. 

I know some of the abilities on CUT can be annoying at times (take off, Quick jump to be specific. Extender last year too) but I've never felt like you HAVE to run the abilities to be competitive in CUT where as in MUT, if you're not using specific ability stacks, you're at a huge disadvantage and almost don't  even have a chance unless you're just incredibly good at the game.

No shade at people who enjoy MUT, it's just not for me anymore.

💯 this is my exact reasoning. The fact that you can get a win in H2H even with ZERO abilities in CUT would almost never happen in MUT

Imagine if we had similar things to Omaha or Mind Reader, lol. Would absolutely suck to play against. But yeah, I generally agree with everyone, especially on the XFs, passive XFs and temp AP discount buckets. 

I do like how CUT does program boosts more as well, where it's typically "Motivator Chems", where a player boosts certain other players or positions like Honor Society or Blue Chip, or it's a strategy item. The only one I can think of that was more like a MUT program chemistry and needed a bit more team revamping to get the full boosts was Rivals, but those also had debuffs, so I'm not sure how many people actually did that.
