Hello all, I am just getting into the Ultimate Team side of CFB 25 and I was wondering what is the best tips/starting pointers you can give me. Through a night of grinding Solo Seasons and BND SOTW packs I was able to build up a respectable 90 OVR team. Despite this, I am still lost on where to go with this game. The pack content seems great but there is no market movement or rewarding solos that seem worthwhile. I want to continue playing to interact with the great content but it seems like such an uphill battle for a new player like myself. I am willing to do the grind I just want some people to comment and steer me in the right direction. Any help is appreciated and please don’t leave “just don’t play comments” I have decided I wanted to play this game mode since it seems interesting enough to keep me engaged through MLB the shows april release date. Thanks in advance to any commenters!
You're better to find a system and build around that system. For example I run the ball and pass to my tight ends alot. I can get by with having very cheap/decent WRs but I always spend on my RB and TE. Check the stats (ex: you play zone then you don't need a DB with great man coverage stats ) for the style you play. Just because there's alot of hype or high OVR player doesn't mean he's worth much to you. Buying LTDs make them more of a 75k rental vs regular players that can lose value within days. It's a grind but modes like Champs offer alot of rewards if you're decent in H2H. Never be discouraged or assume somebody's ability from their Roster. Alot of people (not all but alot) have god squads but can be easily beaten by someone with skill that makes adjustments. Usually people that are buying players are doing so to be better hence yes they have better players but aren't necessarily the better player. You can make more money by playing the auction house (sniping cards 30%-40% less ) and reselling them will make you more coins than any solo/H2h game. Watch youtube videos not only to learn Meta but how to stop it as well. Most people will quit quickly if you're shutting down their money plays so take time and make adjustments on defence rather than spamming and play quick to jump back into action. Remember it's a game, you're going to have picks go straight through your hands, fumble on qb runs while you're trying to slide and overthrow wide open Wrs that would've been a TD. Stay composed
