im seeing all these posts about DDA on this forum. Guys this stuff is never going away. It's been in madden since forever. Is it real? Yes. Does it screw you over and potentially screw you out of games? Yes. I understand the frustration and I feel for you guys but all you can do is just get better at this game. I can guarantee most of the games you guys lose are more of a skill issue than DDA itself. Hard to hear but it's true. Even all the pro and comp guys deal with it but how are they continuing to dominate? Just put one and one together and get better or find another game to playh competitively. DDA will never go away. Harsh truth
Aubrun10 said:I know there‘s a lot of debate about DDA in this game. It seems like a majority of the top competitive players and top streamers feel it’s not in the game. I’ve noticed most on this board seem to think it exist. I’ve tried to give the game the benefit of the doubt and tell myself it’s not present in online competitive play.
With that said, am I the only one where you go up 14-0 on your opponent and then everything just goes the opposite way? like you can call the perfect defense, have air tight coverage, and your opponent makes every 50/50 catch, breaks 3 to 5 tackles to get that first down on 4th and 15, and somehow magically their OL starts to block like the Dallas Cowboys of the 90’s? I mean it can’t just be coincidence, right?
Its like EA makes this game where you can’t blow out your opponent even if you have the better OVR team, better football IQ, and just better at the game in general.
im not one of those that complains and moans after every loss, I give credit where it’s due. I know I’m probably slightly above average at best. With that said I clearly know when I’m playing someone that I’m better than, and it’s like no matter what, EA is going to keep them in the game until the last second of the 4th quarter.
Drives me insane.
TLDR; Anyone else feel like when you go up 14-0 you might as well put the controller down because EA is going to let the other team score no matter what you call or do?
its definitely in the game... to sum it up... They want you to be good enough to overcome the balance of the game. I.E. How many times you threw a bad pass and was like yup that's picked off but someone drops it or its consistently batted down. Right until, the punish you for continuing to make bad throws and bad decisions.
- Try running the whole game on "chewing clock" and see what happens ( You'll have fumbles and ill advised throws to balance out the fact that you're burning time)
- Ever notice how easily u can run a Kickoff back directly after an opponent scores?
- Ever notice they want you to onside kick when you're rebuilding the momentum in the game. ( Maybe down 3 or 5 in the 2nd half)
Basically, its a game of percentages %%% that's why traits aren't really a factor in this game or OVR Rating. (CUT speaking)
Furthermore, if you can limit your mistakes and be more efficient then your opponent, you will be in a position to win the game. EA throws nuances in the game to balance out the cheese. YOU'RE WELCOME !!!
We all know dda is in the game(s). The reason the top players and streamers say it isn’t is bc they know ea will not have anything to do with them if they called it out. So they gaslight the public so they can keep getting invites from ea or sponsorship. I feel like this should go without being said, never trust someone in the industry that says something doesn’t exist when you have seen it or experienced it. Every industry thrives off of consumer ignorance. As long as ppl blindly buy packs DDA will continue to flourish and ppl will continue to deny its existence.
Xman7798 said:the court case was settled with and i quote from a trusted website "proof of no dynamic difficulty adjustment coded into the game" so unless i see proof there was a hush payout imma say there was none
You would never get proof of a hush settlement....... that's why it's called HUSH.
Even if your up you got to play smart football, games are made in a couple plays. Might not be popular but if your up in the first half, run the ball and chew clock, kick your field goals and stay ahead of the chains. Especially if you're going against someone better than you that you caught slipping in the first half, or if you notice DDA rolling their way play conservative football.

It's so fkn hilarious to see so many honks try to defend the beast. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind DDA is in every game. As a company how could you legally and ethically promote the sale of (daily)packs and not give a consistent advantage to or penalize higher overall teams?
EA is cheap they don't hire the top programmers
EA makes billions with a terrible programmed game
EA won't pay for top notch programmers to figure out how to simulate actual gameplay without cheating of scripting

100 percent It’s in every game you’re either on the positive side or the negative side but it’s there. EA knows that if they admit to it there would be a lawsuit so big that it would probably sink the company. Even tho we have ocular proof and you can literally feel the implemented lag. All they have to do is say it doesn’t exist what we are experiencing is a glitchy video game. And they win. It’s gas lighting at its finest!
Then you have the lower overalls getting absolutely bailed out with insta sheds or godly o line blocking thinking they are amazing. When all they are doing is running stock plays on both sides. They really think picking stock plays and having insane animations is skill lmao. Now Ik there are some low overalls that are absolute demons. I’m only referring to the numb skills that are doing nothing but getting every single thing to go their way when they are severely under leveled compared to their opponent.
it a marketing scheme by ea u beat the low team by like 3 piots to were you feel u need to spend more so that you can blow out the bad teams but on the side of the losers they think if I just had 1 more really good player I would have on that game which makes them send more

so how do you know then?
I mean look at MMGs video last night or 2 nights ago he was up 3 scores and then he fumble, dropped many passes, and the oppenents running back broke 7 tackles. It has to be real.
Why would there be DDA to keep low level teams in games? That makes no sense, if the goal is to get you to spend money then you should get crushed by better teams so you in fact want to spend money. A lot of you, like most of us just aren't that good and just expect to run verticals with your receivers that you spent cash on to run deep behind a corner for a touchdown...
dda exists for sure. coming from a fifa player so I’m used to EA and their shit. No way an 89 should be catching shit over a 95 rod woodson 1on1 for example.
Ever since the blast in content this game has turned into another madden. Used to be great unique and fun. It’s literally madden 2.0
Make your money there ea you have a billion dollar license to steal and rob for.

lol that’s one way to look at it I guess. But it is in the game bc you can feel the implemented lag. And you can feel players like Reggie running slow af while players like 86 bosworth running him down with ease. it’s really felt when the overalls are very different. there’s literally no denying dda lol. But the opposite of what you think of dda is happening, it’s keeping low overalls in the games thinking they are good to keep them playing and potentially spending money. It’s to help new players and casuals stay engaged. If you are a new player or casual at this point and are playing 93-95 overalls at their full power. you are more than likely going to get blown out every game and uninstall the game. Which in return is a potential loss for ea.
