yeah I've heard mixed reviews from people running the method, and would have agreed with you that the method is nerfed but then I pulled my first LTD egg yesterday
Just when I'm ready to concede the method is cooked, I have a run that changes my mind and keeps me going
My last run of the night yesterday gave me 5 97s out of about 65 egg rolls, so we still in business
It will be interesting to see how the odds boost affects the markey on these. If the prices go down, it just means cheaper way to get eggs for more rolls
