Explain chemistry to me

I run a spread offensive playbook

So therefore, to get a 2x speed boost, I need what exactly?

Chatgpt says I need 10 players on offense with that chem, and then only the players with that chem are boosted, right?

Can I 9 bums as backups that cost like a total of 50k, like adding backup OL, to boost one player I want boosted?

Does this only give +1 speed? And is that the only thing boosted? The youtube vid I watched wasn't clear how to get the +2...is that team chemistry, like all Florida players for example + offensive style chem = +2 speed?

It seems like spread is the worst, but I don't want to switch playbooks.

Rutgers is a spread playbook. I got 10 spread guys. I don't see a +1 speed .

Do I actually need the playbook "spread" or any playbook that is spread?

Pretty sure the speed boost is for a 50/50 theme team - meaning playbook plus all 25 position players fitting the scheme you want.

To clarify my question: I have 10 players with the spread chem. It says add "the" spread playbook for +25 chem. There is no basic spread playbook I can find. I have the Rutgers playbook, which is spread and when I go in there it even says to add "the" spread playbook for +25 chem

Go to your lineup and it'll tell you how many players you have. I'm 36/50 Pro Style and 31/50 3-3-5. That means I'm running a Pro Style playback (25) and 11 players. Last year for both scheme and team chems, it took all 50 to get the +1 speed. At some point some players may come out with x2 chems. I'm not putting any coins into this this year though.

EDIT: Yep, tier 6 is 50/50 and +1 speed.

Mine says 36 Spread Boosts = 3 tier 3

So, is it counting players in my item binder. How are they generating the 36? 

I have "14" spread items

1 is a kicker, 2 are playbooks. So 11 players plus the playbook = 25? 

Is it even realistic to do an all theme team? I have 860k, with a potential 600k I can sell, giving me 1.46m to get 14 other guys (I guess the punter would count?) 

Should I be aggressive in trying to get this or just add whenever I can?

Correct. The playbook is the first 25. Your 25 starters (including P and K for offense, so possible 27 players) count towards the remainder in getting to 50.

Don't sink too much into it yet. You'll gradually replace and add to your team over time. For me I look to add Pro Style players when the opportunity comes up. I'm not paying a dime to replace my starters for a Pro player.

The playbook itself =25. So from there you get 1 for each player with that chem. Speed is at 50. It’s for a reason because you have to commit to it to get the most important upgrade. 

IMO the chemistry is an added bonus. Not worth building a team around this early in this game. You don’t get that much of a boost to force players in the lineup.  Also, you have to look what you get for each tier. For instance, if you have spread, and the next tier you get +1 MRR, but mostly you have lineman with spread chemistry, you aren’t getting anything from it since they aren’t running routes. 

Worry about this late season 3 or season 4.

Team boost you need 50 players of the same team but you can change and players team for 25k coins

I suggest to get silver and green cards for all your back ups and just worry about buying good starters for your scheme team eventually you will pull players and be able to put them as back ups and save coins in the long run

I have 50/50 pro style , 3-3-5 and Ohio state , giving +2 speed and all the other stuff it comes with

I did this last year when they had the +2 boost during the play offs. I spent 1 Million coins making my entire team Texas TT,  for the +2 boost to end the week after and go back to +1
