Wow, I know the argument of the “even teams” or DDA function is still at hand. But holy smokes, the amount of times I get cheated with a fumble that is not challenged, interceptions bouncing off my chest, immediate disengagements, it’s very very tough for the mid player to even want to continue playing.
Anyone else feel like this? Or is this just a get good and go away for me?
I sure am not a great player, not even close, but gee wiz I would love to have an opportunity to play some great competition in a game that’s not pre determined by coding, or by a pay wall.
No complaints, no victim mentality, but why play if getting cheated is inevitable? Maybe I need to go to animal crossings or Sims and I’m washed lol.
Would love to hear your thoughts, not from an emotional standpoint, but how do you all deal with this to stay on the game consistently knowing you’re going to get cheated?
All love and respect to y’all.
Hate DDA...but in the grand scheme, it should help a mediocre player as often as it hurts. As humans, we are good at remembering what goes against us, while overlooking what goes in our favor.
I am 100% against it. I am above average. I want to earn my wins and I don't want to lose games I shouldn't. I do not believe the advantages to EA outweighs the disadvantages. It should be removed from competitive play.
Every time the game takes over your user input just power it off and come back in a day or two. It’s over for you until the game wants you to come back. Try and user a blocker on kickoffs and if it won’t let you steer that player they have you locked and there’s no reason to play. That and the AI players in H2H have made this the worst experience I’ve ever had in a video game that I once truly loved. Honestly hope they go bankrupt soon.
Appreciate you, gentlemen. Maybe a couple days off will be good for my overall health haha. You all have a great one
It absolutely is a part of the game. 84 speed LBs staying with 90 speed receivers on routes, etc. Stats just plain do not matter in some games. Pretty gross in a game that markets players based on their stats, but that’s just the state of cut overall right now. A dumpster fire of trash.
just a bad game lol DBs don't catch, punters hawking down DBs and return man, d line getting more picks than DBs, 2 man insta sheds, o line got their damn minds on a Happy Meal instead of the man lined up across from them, etc etc etc for a major developer this is easily the worst football game I've ever played. other companies and games at least have a reasonable excuse, but EA has damn near infinite resources and they deliver this trash
When an 80 te breaks 5 tackles and outruns my dbs, something’s up, ea needs to be prosecuted under gambling act or unfair things act cuz they are the worst company
Anyone who says this is not a real thing just delusional. I just played an 80 overall team the other day all three of my receivers have at least 90 speed. His top corner had 82 speed and was keeping up on streak routes…

Its frustrating to no end if they back off in coverage lesser DBs even CPU keep up with top end speed recievers step for step. In reality someone with that large of a speed advantage would have left the Db in the dust after 5 yards of being with them. They dont want lesser to players to just get bombed to death or let us just throw bombs over crap CPU teams and rack up stats so the WR speed means nothing unless the CB is lined up on the WR with no cushion the more cushion preplay the less likely your player is to outrun someone regardless of speed discrepency.
man dda isn’t that bad this year I just don’t get it…Deshawn Jackson didn’t outrun dbs on every streak he ran. How ridiculous would that be if every time you ran a streak you just have a td because you have +4 speed. Also I’m a very very good player with about 50 nattys so mby my experience is alittle bias but I hardly ever struggle with a lesser team
I absolutely believe Even Teams or DDA happens in Ultimate Team. It doesn't happen every game.....but there are a few games where I notice I'm a +1-2 overall better than my opponents players......but they are sticking right with me on every route.....my receivers get KO'd......but their receivers MOSS by CB's on almost every play.
I give it to half time to see if things balance out.....but if it doesn't, I just exit the game and try to shake it off as the "EA needed that person to get a W, or they would CRASH OUT and stop playing the game."
I have found it's easier to deal with DDA when you don't spend money on packs. I have a decent overall team so I can compete with most. Expecting the better overall team to have a competitive advantage doesn't work when EA dictates so much of the gameplay. I learned my lesson from CFB 25.

You hit it on the nail with this one 🙏🏾
DDA is bs. I'm 89 OVR and the games are way too sweaty.
I’m 57-4 in ranked right now. I say that only to establish I’m a decent player in this game. I totally understand where you’re coming from. I know there’s DDA. You know it when you see it. Feels like players are getting 99 CIT all game and you can’t get one in coverage. Bang bang catch tackle and you catch a ball in space with late tackle and drop it. You drop ints thrown right at you. Your opponent gets instant blocksheds etc etc. Most of the time I’m able to overcome it. Mainly bc I’m stubborn and refuse to quit games. Most people will quit down 14-0 or 21-0 which I understand as well. But there is no doubt unless you’re new to EA that there is manipulation of outcomes in this game.
