EA just tried to scam me. [Included Transcript] Don’t buy the Legends Bundle

Jack Velling last time I checked was not a 91+ Ovr Legends Player.

I messaged customer support and he tried to lie and say the pack was for ”any 91+ Ovr player”. I was Hot. Don’t buy these packs or spend money on the game. If you want to see the conversation, I have the transcript but the chat was too long to screenshot. He ultimately suggested it was a bug but also said that due to the integrity of the game, they don’t add content to accounts. That’s also a DAMN LIE, they send these athletes their cards all the time.   

I won’t stop until they do right by me, this is ridiculous. That bundle is too damn expensive to get scammed

With the number of 93 Ovr Jack Velling cards that have gone up in the past couple of hours. I’m guessing I’m not the only one. Don’t just accept their BS. Who else has had this happen?

I received 93 Ovr Jack Velling which is not in that player card criteria. The reason for my escalation to customer support is because I expect full refund for the bundle with the correct type of card this time. Please

Md (11/17/2024, 11:33:29 AM): As I have checked I would like to inform you that as the description says you can get any card which is above 91 or 91+. As I have checked description is correct. Besides this we won't be able to make refund for the In game purchase. If you purchase any pack from In game we do not have an option to revert the actions as the game is manage by the servers.

Like you said yourself I am a Madden VIP program member, I am a loyal customer who has spent plenty of my hard earned money on the game and this game alike if not more. You can’t just pacify my $160 purchase of Madden Points for this in-game purchase as a “bug”. That IS A SCAM. Like I said I want a 91+ Ovr Legends player pack with an actual 91+ Ovr Legend player like I paid for.

I was just irate that you would lie about the description of the bundle and then your last sentence suggesting I wouldn’t get my proper pack. Customer service is anything but when it comes to CUT

They either aren't allowed or just won't solve any content related issue.

Buying packs or getting rewards from sets , or buying anything is completely left up to luck &  if the nimrods at EA property coded the packs/rewards.

Last season that objective do 10 85+ sets , I spent about 700k buying cheapest cards over a weekend,  dI'd the sets only to have none of them count.

OObviouslythey can see I did the sets and didn't get the reward but they wouldn't do anything.  Wwouldn't manually give me the reward, no compensation for the 700k that they could clearly see i spent buying cards  , not even an "I'm sorry pack".

Just hours of chats telling me how they understand my frustration and it should be fixed soon to try again tomorrow.

Guarantee we aren't,  but EA has done such a good job distancing themselves from us, the consumers, they get away with it.

They keep the athletes happy with a free game and a hotdog and the popular content creators are tickled to death to be a part of the darkside being yes man for a couple views on twitch and a shoot out on X leavin  the consumers on outside of the echo chamber.

Until after content creator or college football player speaks up and calls out EA, they're chilling in their ivory palace in the land of untouchables.

i dont think anyone should buy the one coming out next year or anymore packs as the only speech ea understands is speaking with your wallet but it wont happen. this is my last football game ever personally (madden 19 was the last one i bought before this). electronic arts is run by individuals who dont give a shit about anyone or anything that doesnt have to do with making profit and funding whatever vices, passions, and hobbies they have if any

You are correct I also didnt get a  91+ Legend, although I did get 94 Bond and 94 Stutsman so I wont complain, but its EA we shouldn't expect anything less.

2/3 of non-Legend players is Insanity when that’s what you paid for and should’ve got

Shit like this is why I only buy the booster packs and season packs lol
