EA is trolling us with speed in CPU events

Oh yeah, I threw a blue time zig route to a wide open receiver the other day and the ball went ten yards behind both the defender and receiver. I have Ultimate Andrew Luck with dots, the leaning tower ability, mobile dead eye and one other one. I don't know, like,  21 ability points wasted because EA created this cheat mode event. LMAO!

Oh and they drop events like these and nerf events like redshirt because they do not want us having fun, they want us believing that spending more money on packs will solve all our problems. Lol

those first ten were a lot of luck for me. #10 best case scenario you get a couple of first downs then a TD. all within like 3 or 4 plays max or restart the challenge then let them score as fast as possible. i got lucky that they fumbled a possession but otherwise it's all about speed  and getting the ball back

You're not crazy. EA has a "cheat" difficulty and this is it. They'll say this is "Heisman" difficulty but it's not. Like you said, blue timed passes we've all made a million times suddenly sail ten yards BEHIND the receiver. Sure EA. Or the defender that's beaten in coverage gets a speed boost like a Marvel character and knocks the ball out. Sure EA. Can I have some of those 99 speed linemen the CPU has? Lol

I thought things were a little weird. Some games I can rip an 80 yard td run with ease. But then the next game I get stuffed every time I run the ball. Particularly in the rush games. Not so much in the sots.

So I also want to add that the CPU has weird phantom acceleration jumps. I just had a defensive end teleport about two feet when I had him on the outside edge. I should have had the first down but he instead tackled me for a loss on 3rd down making me kick a 50 yd FG.

That's a regular occurrence in the Rush event. I call it the Marvel ability. Lol. They will do it crashing down through the line too on a buck sweep for example. Power jump right through the line.

Definitely felt it in Rush, but I wasn’t surprised because they clearly wanted to make it a grind to get those tokens. Why they adjusted the scripting on the SOTS draft is beyond me though. 

On top of the defense being cracked, CPU receivers and halfbacks practically warp to make ridiculous contested catches and the QB’s need to be gang tackled or they’ll shake off multiple hits and still make perfect passes.

I don't think i've ever given up a touchdown to the cpu I don't know what you guys are talking about.

Deucewin it's definitely not just you. EA seems to do it with any CPU mode where they are afraid we might capitalize on the slightly better reward offerings. Can't have your customers having actual fun now can we? Lol
