For the players like the OP and other here complaining about artificial equalization, let me ask a few questions:
- do you run the same blitz play after play (usually Nickel Double Mug)?
- do you mix up your offensive formations and play calling or do you mostly repeat the same play since it worked for a TD the first time you ran it?
- do you rely on QB scrambles to break down the defense?
If your answer is no to the above 3 questions, then perhaps you have a legitimate complaint - although a fairly weak one.
This game is fun because of the ability to strategically adjust to your opponent. you don't need a top-level team or superb stick skills to win.

Hmm interesting you should try to level this point cause I have this stuff done against me on the regular and it seems to work like a charm but I do not do it against others so in my opinion your point is null and void as others are able to do this exact thing against me and have success and I'm sure you'll be like oh get better then but that's got nothing to do with it
I understand what you mean 100%. The teams that have nice players I walk through but its those low OVR teams that give me hell. How can we stop 90 CJ Spiller but let 86 Chris Johnson run all over us . It makes no sense sometimes
It does feel very predetermined. I’m 88 overall. I’ve had games against 85 overalls where Staubach overthrows simple routes, my players fumble from being touched by a pinky finger, and my defenders can’t chase down a 84 ovr WR. But I’ve also had games where I’ve played 90 overall teams and they cant move the ball to save their lives
EA is absolutely trash. I just learned today my Edgewater players QS for 50 training and my Season 2 CB QSs for 1 TP while my buddy's Edgewater players QS for 1 TP each and his Season 2 CB QSs for 50 training. Combine that with the rest of their inconsistencies and incompetence and I just don't understand what they're doing with this game. It's like they're intentionally taking measures to not have to release a game next year. I for one am never buying an EA game ever again.

I've experienced the same exact thing

It would truly suck if this is the only year of this game cause even though I have my complaints I still enjoy this over Madden but I completely understand where you're coming from

Played a guy yesterday think he was 89-90 ovr, he had 90 De’Anthony Thomas go for 208 rush yards and 2 TDs + another 65 yard TD catch. he scored to go up 23-21, suddenly out of nowhere the game lagged for a half second and he missed the XP, didn’t lag at any other point in the game for even a millisecond. I drive down and kick a FG to win. It’s little shit like that that makes me suspicious

Yeah bro it always seems like it's something either for us or against us but it's always something
Care to elaborate a bit on how EA made your user controlled team play like crap?
Joey said:I'm very tired of ea making my team play down to the other team when I'm heads and tails better across the board but yet my team plays like ass just because ea thinks it should so I really see no point in trying to keep up with the latest players and content when it doesn't matter who you put on the field EA is gonna decide the winner regardless of who you have that's better than the other team if I wanted even teams on I'd go play CPU games with even teams turned on this is the most frustrating thing I've ever had to deal with on a football game it's absolutely RIDICULOUS
This is very true. I really do think that your team just doesn't play when they need to. I'm tired of it. I also 100% agree with the scripted stuff. My high dbs and safetys never do their job in there deep zones against a HORRIBLE player like ea gives them an advantage. Yet when you know you cant get stopped that really really helps the part

FOR REAL. its stupid stiff like that that pisses me off.
