EA forums help

Hey everyone, I've been having an issue where I can't play squads because of some sort of secret ban. It has been almost a month i haven't been able to play with my friends and im out of idea. So I'm turning to y'all. The title is "Can not play squads" under cfb 26 technical issues on EA forums. You can make things up or do whatever you want, I would just greatly appreciate it if you could stop by and comment. PLEASE do not feel obligated to, it is completely fine if you don't want to. I am just asking for help here to see if EA can help me/anyone else having this issue.

Is squads pretty fun?  I never tried that before?  I'll have to find my log in and I'll drop a comment over there.

Thank you, and yes when you have the right people it is a blast. I’ve been playing with my long time friends since the end of 25 when I found out he had it lol. But we’ve played so many games that we’re ranked pretty high. And it’s been a depressing down slope since march 31st. But I appreciate this and hopefully others follow too

Hey, think you can get more people on this? It may sound a little greedy or something but I would like all the help I can get on this

@UTLonghorns have you tried a certified letter to EA legal explaining the situation? My son was false/shadowed banned earlier this year and we sent a certified letter to EA legal and he was unbanned just a few days after legal received the letter.

How would one do this? And are we sure they can fix it? I’m not truly banned so I am unsure how they solve this. Plus, how long do it take for EA to receive your letter? I apologize for all the questions lol

Follow up, do you think it may have been a coincidence? Because again I don’t know if I’m actually banned and I don’t know if the legal department has much to do with support. But please prove me wrong and explain

@UTLonghorns What is happening when you try to load in to a squads game? (I've never played squads, so not familiar with what should happen) - Are you getting an error message? Are you being told you are banned? Or do you just try to load in and nothing ever happens?

Are you able to play CUT solo? H2H?

Edit: Just found this on the EA Forum from a user who posted they were not able to load in to Squads. It was marked as a solution.
Update: Make sure you don't have the same name what if promo players on both sides of the ball for your rosters - otherwise you won't load in

The way I read this is if anyone on your squad has one of the What If? players that you or another player have, this is causing the issue. Example: You have TE Kadyn Proctor and a squad mate has LT Kadyn Proctor - breaks the game. or  if two players in the lobby have the same name player on different sides of the ball on their rosters I believe it causes the game to not load in.

So, we can’t even load in. It’s like when you play H2H and don’t pull a game and sit there staring at the numbers counting… we know about the what if issue so we don’t really have any. But I can’t even get a game. We just sit there unable to pull.

 I am able to play head to head easier, but there are more people there who are considered “toxic” because apparently the way a shadow ban works is you are unable to pull a game unless your opponent is “toxic” so it is taking me a little longer to pull head to head and when I do its always streamers or insane sweats. 

But I mostly play squads for this reason and now EA has taken that from me. The best help you can give is any ideas (the letter idea was good)  and commenting on my forum “can not play squads” under technical issues in cfb 26.

For as much as people pay to play this game their service is disgraceful, obviously its a smaller issue but its ridiculous there are so many of the older challenges that are broken and cannot be completed also.

you're telling me, i don't even know what I did tbh, I'm always in a PS party with my friends, the only time I'm in game chat is when they aren't online and that's when i get called slurs buy a guy I'm beating lol. But it says shadow bans happen form excessive reports and as I say that out loud I think the guys I beat reported me... great... lol

That is soooo jacked up!!!  This is a Karen generation for sure.  I'm sorry that happened to you that makes a fun thing not fun.
