EA gives teams like UNLV, Colorado, Michigan, and Missouri CFP cards? I just don't get why. I was hoping each CFP team would get a new champ each round of the playoffs, instead we get a bunch of teams that never have made it before. I was really wanting to get a few solid upgrades for Tennessee, there are teams that weren't in the playoff that got more cards from the playoffs promo than UT did.

Unfortunately, that is the nature of EA. Nothing they do really ever makes sense.
Supposidly, the .5 releases (the Tuesday releases) are for teams that were outside of the playoffs where as the Thursday release is for teams that actually made the playoffs.
Doesn't really make much sense to me either since there are a ton of guys from teams that made the playoffs who could use upgrades.
Was wondering this as well, wild That UNLV has more than BSU
just a point of information…
michigan won last year and has won more games than any other team in history. Sure they didn’t do great this season, but I’m pretty sure EA already gave them NIL money before week 1 so they want to get the most return they can.
the rest of your list is 100% spot on but those teams have players that will be studs in the pros too

It's supposed to be teams that are/were in the playoffs this year though.
