Did EA remove the full clock rundown on QB Kneel??

EA actually had a good idea here that with the right amount of time, you could do a QB kneel on 1st down and the clock would run down up to around 90 seconds straight. I've done two solo seasons now where it doesn't do that anymore. Has anyone else run into this? Why would EA continue to remove features from the game??

I’ve only experienced that playing online, not a single time in solos seasons or anywhere else

It worked last night for me. However if you blow the team out and they don't use their TOs it will not work. Have to be no timeouts and less than 1min 40 seconds on a first down.

Two scores seems to be the key. Anything over 16 points and they won't burn timeouts. 

I have had it not work on 1st down occasionally but immediately work on 2nd down.

Idk sometimes it does it and some times it does not. I’m not exactly sure what the trigger is.

All of this exactly. You have to be up by a maximum of 16 points for them to burn their timeouts. If you're up 3 scores (17+) they won't call timeouts, and if they have all their timeouts, the end game kneel won't go into effect.

After they use their timeouts, I usually wait til clock goes under 1:30 to kneel. And I've also had the issue where it sometimes doesn't work on 1st down, then does on 2nd.

Yeah, I was up 7-0 and they had burned all of their timeouts. I played the same way O always do kneeling on 1st down with CPU having no timeouts, and the game made me call a kneel three times. Weird.
