When you're ignorant to a problem, of course you're not gonna see it because you dont want to. To admit there could be "DDA" would prove too many people are stupid and spend 100s or 1000s for nothing. Cant have people admitting they're wrong because they gotta feed the narcissistic monkey on their back.
kingsanti said:they literally have a patent for it. also if I remember correctly they got sued because of it on fifa some years back. the game isn't as poorly built as people think. stuff deliberately happens at critical points in game. the qb scrambling pause is a huge gripe because you can literally find tons of YouTube how to videos on how to play like that, but when you do it and then the qb has a pause step not allowing you to take off you'd understand that things happen in this game for a reason. it happens in offline dynasty as well. it's woven through every mode and to just say it's not real or it's poor programming is just naive when there's info saying otherwise. I will say this though, most like me will have this happen and get so upset it leaks into our future drives which leads to poor decisions that could be avoided, but the main point is there should not be any balancing mechanics in the game.
Hey look, I don’t disagree that there is something that makes the game go shitty and swing one way or the other, I just don’t believe it’s as simple as DDA coding. They factually have RNG in almost every interaction it’s like a board game, throw a 6 to catch it and so on. I think it’s that mechanic that goes stupid.
DDA is a patent, but I’m pretty sure if you look at the FIFA case they were unable to prove any DDA and of course EA denied it being implemented.
I also want to be clear I hate EA, I think they are money grabbing pricks that are as bad as drug dealers selling virtual crack to kids. I havent played Madden for 2 years because of it, only just picked up the pad the last couple of weeks again.
I play FC (FIFA) aswell, and the real issue with both games is the damn abilities. They mess the game play up and cause more random shot to happen. It’s just a crap shoot some games.
calmlikeabombz said:Does it really matter If it’s DDA or not? You know what he is talking about. 90 speed shouldn’t catch 98 speed.
it’s trash, game is not worth buying packs over.
besides when you enter a game and one team gets all the boost and the other team gets no help, it’s clearly wanting the one team to win.
Yes I agree with you.
I will add for the purpose of balance that whilst I don’t believe it’s DDA there is something and maybe I was being too clinical in saying DDA doesn’t exist because as some have said why does it matter what it’s called - you’re right.
However back in Madden 17 I messed around a lot and found like an invisible line where my team would go from playing really well to shit going against me. And no joke as long as I kept my team under a certain overall everything was going my way. It was fun as hell, for me. But made me realise chasing the overall is pointless.
Legitimate question: if lower overall teams benefit from DDA when facing higher overall teams, wouldn't that discourage the player with the worse team from buying packs and trying to get better players? If you can win without a good team, what's the point of spending money to get one? All EA cares about is profit, so wouldn't DDA actually hurt them?

Another point of evidence is in the leader boards. Generally your top 100 has a 80% win percentage. Most of them only with 60%-70% of the time now.
They are simply trying to even out winning, to create an “more engaging game”. It’s to ensure the most pack buying is done.

You’re not understanding the point of the low overalls. DDA is simply triggered by win percentage and how many packs you buy.

“If kids lose they think they need to spend to win. DDA kicks in they win with the new guy and immediately think I need to spend more for more good players to continue winning.”
DDA patent in Neanderthal cfb.fan language for all to understand
if you don’t need to spend to win, EA hates your guts and you are going to be targeted

I just have always seen people say that they get DDA'd when facing worse teams. Also, how do you know what triggers it?

So you're saying that, when someone gets a new player, they are beneficiaries of DDA until they start losing again (and feel the need to buy better players so DDA kicks in again)

What’s known as your “ELO”.
Go read the patent and quit wasting time+deflecting on a subject you clearly don’t know have knowledge of or understand. Seriously not trying to be rude or condescending

Just go read the patent if you’re competent enough it should take you a half hour minimum to truly go through it all and understand it.

To save myself the time of having to read patent info, I'm just trying to understand the pov of those who think DDA is in the game
DDA deniers don’t even know what DDA even is but wanna derail and demean folks who do. Those are known as PLANTS

No man you need to go read it yourself for perspective frfr
stop your nonsense here and due the work fr
