Ok, explain how when all my db's pull the one handed swat on terrible passes instead of making easy picks one after another? Then when I make one bad pass it's a guaranteed pick six?
I hear you that some people blame DDA for their own screw ups but there's no way EA doesnt manipulate the game somehow to keep the terrible players active in the game so they will spend moneySkill based adjustments are in almost every online game by the bigger developers EA is notoriously bad about squeezing the last dollar out of its player base no way they don't do something like that. Historically EA makes Activision look like they run a charity and they abuse SBMM to keep the player count high. If there's a financial incentive to do something that is industry wide I promise you EA is going to be running full speed.
It’s not even your opponents players get better, it’s that EA makes your player play DOWN to the competition. It dumbs your players out and makes them ineffective.
Thats not ok if I’m literally paying money for “97” stock speed and he’s not running consistently at an ~97 speed pace. We can’t “reprimand“ or “correct“ the issue due to the fact that there is no human element involved.
The game obviously has DDA, it’s not a question. Some games are clearly favored for one side to win from the start.
Gotta love DDA. Otherwise 90% of you here on this site wouldn’t even play football games citing “they’re too hard” like EA put out in articles almost a decade ago.
Born2Football said:They have patents on it. You wouldnt have a patent on it if you're not using it. Plain and simple as that not to mention EA doesnt do shit for "no reason" its always a cold calculated move to take MORE and give LESS. If you cant see this then i can only imagine what else you refuse to acknowledge. Ive had it happen in both online AND offline. I'll use my offline example, was up 2 TDs in the 4th qtr with ~2 mins left then by some miracle the game ended up tied due to the WR magically getting a 'speed boost' and becoming faster than a 95 spd DB when the WR only had 88-90 spd. Doesnt happen like that IRL so why does it happen in game? Hmmmm
Oh I'm glad we have an expert on patent law. I'm sure what you said is true. What value would EA gain from "DDA" in offline modes?

because pending on what level you're playing at they're going to want the game to "challenge" you. And instead of working on making the game better (they do, obviously, but clearly product isn't perfect) they can manufacture outcomes by boosting/lowing stats and triggering certain animations regardless of input.

I'm no expert it's just common sense combined with using the eyes that i have.
Joey said:Bro I have literally been emailing back and forth with ea about this exact issue and for 1 they admitted to me that they have dda patented and 2 they told me DDA isn't in Madden FIFA or NHL but I was not emailing about those games but oddly enough the 1 game they left out of NCAA football so it's gonna be hard to convince people that DDA doesn't exist in this game so why patent it if you not gonna use it
Yep. You should see the patent list behind call of duty. It's insane what these companies do. It's definitely not like it used to be. They take your money and promise you things that are 100% false, and you're too small to do anything about it. That's what their banking on. They might pay out of class action lawsuit in some years, but they will have had their money by then

That's the truest thing I've heard in a while and it's absolutely bullshit what they are able to do and we are just kinda stuck dealing with it and we can't boycott cause not enough people will do it for it to matter

The only people I see complaining about DDA are people who spend money on the game. Why would EA punish their players who spend money? wouldn't they rather make people who don't spend lose so they feel like they have to spend? It all comes down to people feeling entitled to win because they waste even more money on a 60 dollar game. If people lose to someone with a worse squad who is a worse player... IT'S ON YOU.

So when I outsmart my opponents play calls all game and EA nerfs me, that’s on me?
When I put a fresh, faster player on a slower player and EA nerfs his speed, that’s on me?
When I out scheme my opponents and and have wide open players no pressure and EA bails them out that’s on me?
When I press a button cuz my opponents throw right at my defenders and the button clearly doesn’t respond that’s on me?
When we follow the rules of the EA realm and EA doesn’t follow the rules of the EA realm, that’s on me?
And I only named a few examples, ones that are cited in the patent especially.
Ok kid. When you hit puberty and start to realize how the world works kiddo then come speak on anything. Otherwise, you’re a Rutgers fan what do you know about winning?

Right, right, it's the games fault not yours. I love when people talk about how "the game" makes them drop picks. You just can't time it right!! If you press Y at the perfect time you will always pick it off. If you really outsmarted your opponents play call, you would get the stop. Blaming all of your short comings on the game isn't healthy, but I'm sure it makes you feel just a little bit better when you quit at night. Skill. Issue.

its obvious you are just terrible at the game. I've never seen so much complaining on a forum about digital college football. heres some tips to help out your game so you can stop complaining on a forum about virtual college football:
Learn the Controls: Apparently, jukes and stiff-arms aren’t obvious.
Study the Playbook: It’s not rocket science. Know your plays.
Play Defense: Just because you’re losing doesn’t mean the game’s rigged. Try covering someone.
Balance Your Team: Shocking, I know, but offense and defense matter.
Upgrade Your Players: If you don’t know player traits yet, that’s on you.
Adjust to Opponents: Don’t expect the game to adjust to you.
Stay Calm: Momentum is real, but so is choking under pressure.
