It seems really difficult for people to grasp that this post was not about it being hard to stop but about people using 1 playbook instead of any of the 115 like before the tournament.

I think a lot of people lean towards the formation because the meta in madden has been bunch for a very long time so it’s just familiar to them . it’s really not that deep though. Watch a couple videos on bunch defense and use your switch stick.

Just because I play the game or come to a site dedicated to the game (btw they have a monopoly on CFB games there is no other choice out there) does not mean that the game is good in any way or not broken or not trash created to sell packs. It is a terrible game just like all other EA games. Especially with UT element.

maybe i was unclear - but this post was NEVER ABOUT THE META BEING HARD. this post is about the player base using ONE PLAYBOOK AND FORMATION vs USING 100+ PLAYBOOKS.
if you cant wrap your head around this then please send your gt/psn so we can play a game and then move on to the actual conversation, WHICH IS PLAYBOOK VARIETY.
i have multiple undefeated gauntlet runs, multiple undefeated champs runs, i can assure you this is not about the game being hard. its about the game being boring and repetitive. if you don't understand this simple point i can't help you anymore.

i agree. its not about it being hard. its about it being repetitive when the beauty of CFB (for me and a lot of others) was the variety in 100+ playbooks, formations, stadiums, uniforms, etc. now being boiled down to 1 playbook, 1 formation for 75% of players. that is boring and bad for the longevity of the game.

No these are facts. It has been proven that EA is a predatory company. It has been voted worst company a number of times not just gaming companies. It has been banned from it's predatory practices in several nations. They have admitted they use rubber banding and the psychology of addiction.
