Unfortunately, there are no good solo alternatives to online play. Solo seasons are a joke - playing 75 overall teams was fun for the first few weeks but now the games are boring and monotonous. Sometimes good for completing objectives but that is it. I wish EA would update the teams to the mid-90s, adding Heisman difficulty. Or make Solo Battles relevant.
Sure, the cheese wizards will still win easily against the CPU, but for casual gamers who don't run the meta, worthwhile solo choices would be a good alternative to online.

I don’t run metas at all and I do better than fine. 4 squads tokens countless nattys across various modes Beat the tower all of that. While I agree with your take on solo choices and optimization, but I don’t agree with the meta statement. Meta players are doodoo but they’re easy to beat because you know what they’re doing but they don’t know what you’re doing being off meta. It’s still football at the end of the day, that’s my advice/clue about this game

Dcroft won with a new loop blitz and a Bunch HB Strong offense that just folds man and zone practically no matter what. You can stop it under very specific circumstances, mostly being that the offensive player makes a mistake or you switch stick well. But it's okay that it's "good" or "glitchy". The variety of gameplans on CUT have disappeared as everyone is scrambling to get wins with this little scheme. All of a sudden, CUT has become no different than MUT on the field, where only 1-3 playbooks and formations are being used. Gauntlet this past weekend, I won 7, and currently 8-0 in Champs. I don't remember the last game I played that wasn't against this bunch bullshit.

That’s why I have been facing so much bunch. My philosophy in the game is find the anti-meta. I feel that it is the triple option, so I have ran that for 3 months. Forget about the meta, find something so off-meta it is meta for u. Hate how metas ruin games tho

I agree whole heartedly smh it’s terrible nobody using more than 3 plays in there playbook. Just cheesing. If I see a guy start a game with a reverse I’m gonna just quit from now on . That needs to be patched Immediately.. and also the 3-3 mid blitz is corny and annoying but also easy to stop
