Credit where due

I try to remain fair and balanced when considering games, and in this case, EA. I bring complaints when I think warranted but also confess to mostly enjoying CFB the past 2 seasons.

I must tip my cap to the dev team for what they hope to accomplish in 27'. I say hope, because no doubt as many haters will want to immediately shout, we have no proof and things are likely to break and/or not work as intended. I dont think it fair to criticize problems that have not yet appeared, so I will just respond to what is currently being shared. When althea time comes that something is broken or unbalanced, that will be the time to address those critiques. 

From the changes to gameplay, to dynasty, and to CUT, they have taken HUGE steps to changing football games. This is not incremental or cosmetic. Some shared concerns about the change of ownership, impact of AI, etc...but for the time being, gamers must confess EA hasn't let up off the gas, rather, they removed the brakes. 

Time will tell how all of these changes impact the increase or decrease of fun, but for the time being, EA, I offer up an earned salute. 🫡

I'm critical of EA where it's due, but I have to agree with you, from first glance it seems like they are pushing to take the game to another level. Whether or not they execute on the plan, we will see, but I'm excited to fire up 27 in July

Even though I am excited, I will be keeping my wallet in my pocket when it comes to spending $$$ on CUT. I found I had much better success playing as a NMS player from Jan - present. 

On the surface, the season pass felt like a good value, but through the first 4 seasons, I found I didnt pull much from the extra free packs. Maybe my expectations are too high, but when I pay $15, I expect at least 1 LTD from all those packs. I mean, they are BND, so not like we are getting rich off them. Rewards gotta be better.

And so beyond paying for the MVP+ membership, my goal is nothing else spent for 27.

Pretty much how I do it. I may decide to drop $100 when game drops just to Jumpstart my team and avoid grinding solos but that is up in the air. 

I see no need to spend coins during the year. You can have a competitive team NMS...especially with the stupid DDA

I wish they would sweeten the pot.  Like let people have a few 99s to start the year who do MVP Memberships  :)

I would watch the civil youtube video, its a great breakdown.  Its confusing what we can share and not share.

Look up EA deep dive on the subject. They did a great job communicating with written word.

I agree gameplay is king. Tuat said, many changes are to improve gameplay...so reason for optimism.
