Confirmed: stats mean nothing

So I closed out my Study Hall event today to collect the 50k coins and be done with it. In my 10th game against the CPU, 81 WR CJ Daniels caught a short pass and ran 70 yards for a touchdown.

He has 81 speed and 75 acceleration but he not only outran but PULLED AWAY FROM my 86 SS Harrington (86 sp, 85 acc), my 91 MIKE Bowen (88 sp, 89 acc), my 91 FS Scruggs (88 sp, 90 acc), AND my 91 LEDG Edwards 82 sp, 83 acc). How the F is that possible?!

I get if you already have momentum on someone but not an allout footrace for 65 yards. You're not accelerating 50 yards into a sprint. Top speed wins. Full stop.

That’s why I’m staying away from TT this year. Game will decide who’s faster or better on what play, 1.2Mill for plus 1 speed on your skill players is just not worth it. Even staying away from chasing ovr as well, ovrs just do not matter a good chunk of the time.

Now I just played the Halloween Rush event. My 88 CB Samuels Jr. picked off a pass 5 yds deep in the endzone and made it to the 35 yd line where the LT caught up to me - with very bad angles no less. I have 87 sp and 88 acc while the tackle was either an 86 or 83 with either 70/68 sp and 73/70 acc. This is absurd. That's a difference in the double digits and a Tackle caught up to me. No. Just no.
