Bought players from AH now can’t sell??

Someone please help me if I am missing something here, but I recently purchased Derwin James and Timmy Jernigan from the auction house, and now they are both cards not eligible for any sets, or auction. This seems odd as I purchased them both through the auction house.

Are you sure you didn't put training in to upgrade them?

If you upgraded them then you have to downgrade In order to sell them.
