I've had my extra points or field goals blocked probably 10 times in a week. My line is top tier.
Since this started happening I've started to run actual field goal block. Nothing, besides the occasional dumbass fake for two that I shut down.
What do I need to do to block kicks or stop it? Is it just a luck animation?

Pretty sure they changed the coding for kicking recently. I’ve had a few blocked myself the past week, after not having a single one blocked all year (and I play a lot). It seems like you have to make sure the accuracy meter is right in the middle green area, or it’s got a chance at being blocked.

I’ve had my kick blocked in h2h by a 70 overall 70 speed cb. I didn’t recognize the name and usually I don’t pause to look at my opponent players but I had to. Sure enough
Game is all about animations not strategy or even players. DDA decides outcomes.
