Long story short, but I’m a huge Michigan fan, and am interested in putting a theme team together, but I’m wondering is it even worth it when I have to buy JJ who is 150k and Desmond who is almost 500k and JJ will not play on my main lineup and Desmond might be outclassed by the time I get the season reward. So I’m really not sure if it’s worth it to do a theme team. What are your guys thoughts? Do you run theme teams and why?
Yuk
that being said no at this point it’s not worth it. I started off doing an all Ohio state team but realized there just isn’t enough viable bodies yet to field a full complete team for situational football
Yes and no if you got the coins sure since you can add your TT to any card for 15k but you will not get anything back when you downgrade them to sell. Having to downgrade sucks if you plan on selling players before promos come out so unless you got coins to burn its really not worth it since cards values drop so fast in this game.
How is it NOT worth it when you can make any card reflect your team? I'm running a 50/50 USC team and yea, it makes a difference, especially if you also focus on chem compatibility. I'm sporting 2 90's and 3 89's because of boosts, a bunch of 88's too.

I’ve been able to boost some players +3 with 50/50 team chem and strategy cards. I’m not sure where I’m at playstyle chem wise so that should tell you

Interesting. I was definitely thinking a more pure one team style theme team. But changing chems to boost the team might actually be a pretty good play tbh.

It can be expensive and as before mentioned you don’t get that 15k back. So add 15k to your purchases that aren’t that team for the chem you’re going for.
I do 50/50 Ohio State with o line and d line strategy cards. I’m probably 15 or 20/50 style chem that I don’t realize but I don’t pay attention to that tbh. I should but I don’t care that much about that
Overall I'm not changing team chems as it's not worth 15k/player this early. I paid the 15k tax for a few players like my WR1 and CB1 that I know will be in my lineup for a long time. Otherwise I try to focus on buying position players from A&M asit makes sense. No way in hell I'm paying 250k for an 87 Von Miller.

Same. Running 50/50 tt with offensive and defensive line strats. Absolutely love that +4 strength and +1 speed combo.
You can put any team chemistry on any card actually getting just your teams players no bug getting the cards you want plus that is Definitely worth it
Slowly building team chem is worth it over the long run. You can get cheap backups at all positions and once you have 50/50 swapping upgrade cards out as you accumulate them is not so bad. The low number of cards available is absolutely ridiculous tho, major issue. Milroe dynamic runner, low mid short Acc, give me Nico from tenn give me more players… so many trait combos to go w to differentiate them smdh season two ? What happened
If the blue blood fans are saying it’s not worth it, it’s definitely not worth it for the rest of us
Is it worth it?…It’s kind of relative to each person’s situation. If coins are not an issue then yes. Adding the additional speed/acceleration on everyone on your team is a nice upgrade. But if you are NMS or tight on coins then don’t do it. Costs about 700k to do 50 players.
Got very bored the past couple weeks so I’ve worked up to 50/50 bama TT but the only actual bama starters I have are LT Overton & Devonta Smith. I run Arizona’s offensive playbook and have built my offense to 50/50 pro style. Those combined can be pretty fun sometimes with the +2 speed on my entire offense, gets Herman Moore up to 91 speed. Will be nice when we get the Caullin lacy reward because he’ll be at 92 speed & 94 agility/acceleration. I think if you don’t want to shell out 15k for alot of your lineup pieces for a full TT, doing an all air raid or pro style offense is a fun and slightly cheaper alternative.

Disagree. First, we all know very few backups see the field in this game (HB/SS are about it I think), so if you fill your backup roles with players that reflect your team chems and play style chems, those slots will last you all year. You'll never need to cash them out. That is your base.
Look, I'm running a 50/50 USC TT with 45/50 Air Raid and 45/50 4-3 Multiple. The boosts are very significant. I have an 87 overall team with very little money invested.
