Any tips for beginners?

Just started playing like a week ago. I have completed all the challenges so just by doing that and buying a few players on the market my team is all players rated in low 80's with a couple 84

Pretty inexperienced so looking for any tips. Best ways to earn coins? Any players I should target on the market? I am currently at 140k coins so cant really get any of the studs. 

Also, very curious if there is a meta or popular offensive and/or defensive playbook I should go with. I have basically been playing a little bit with each playbook style just to get a feel for every option but realize I need to go ahead and pick an offense and defense to stick with so I can 1. Master the playbook and 2. Build my team to the strengths of that playbook/style that I run

are you good? if so play champs and gauntlet. if not solo seasons and do your field pass objectives.

I think that is the most exciting thing about this game- there will be no set meta, at least for a while. With all the playbooks and chemistry options, it really is dependant upon how you play the game. 

Something to keep in mind coming off of MUT was that LBers were almost useless in MUT without abilities to make them animate. That's not the case in this game, so use those stud LBers as users sometimes. I feel like their pursuit angles are a little beter than safeties, but that is anecdotal.

As for playbooks, I've been loving the spread offense. There are so many shotgun formations, but there are also enough stretch, RPOs, and options so I can really mix it up. I want to say my offensive pb right now is LSU and my defense is UCLA (4-3 Multiple). The 4-3 Multiple is great bc you get the typical 43 packages including the even 6-1 package, a 46 package,  nickle packages including over, 3-3 stack and double mug, and a couple of Dime sets including the 2-3 odd.

Couple of tips/suggestions:

- What kind of offense/defense you trying to model? Certain scheme or school?

-Your play style should be adequate of the types of players you want. Ex: don't get a pocket passer if you run options alot or don't get rush outside linebacker if you run a secondary/coverage heavy defense.

-I'd build your lineup in the lineup builder and share the link to it. Then we can help with more specifics on how to build your squad (note who is BND)

Best advice I can give you is to Build your O-line and D-line whenever possible. Figure out what you do on offense and defense and build based on your schemes. Go to practice mode and look at who plays on the field in your subsets on defense.  Some of those backups that you may believe don't matter might be starters on the field in spots you least expect them to be. In other words make sure you don't have players out of place.

Run  wildcat and HB pass… great success!

I appreciate all the info. Sorry for such a delayed response, I have been out of town. I will likely respond to a few individual posts about some suggestions in the near future about offense but right now I am trying to find what defensive formation I should use. This is my current defense. Any thoughts?

I would definitely recommend 43 multiple given ur players. idk How much u would have to grind but the season pass LOLB would be a huge addition. Safeties and corners are very expensive but wright Is the best base cb in the game so ur solid.  RJ mickens is a very good ss can play sublb and slot/dime. Crosby or Myles garret would be nice upgrades if u want d line, I’d recommend putting ray at the lolb spot he will go up 1 or 2 overall (and if u have the coin for his upgraded card it is much better).

Thanks for the info. Here is an updated pic of what my defense looks like currently. I was thinking of adding another strong safety and upgrading from Booger at DT and running a 3-4,3-3-5,3-3-5 tite. Any suggestions for good SS or DT rated 84-85? Or should I just save up my coins and go for one of the expensive guys? I was targeting 84 Shyheim Brown at SS for a current guy I can afford.

Also, my offense is good enough but im lacking at LG. Currently have an 82 in there. Any suggestions for like an 84? I was targeting 84 Justin Mayers unless you have any other recs.
