Please excuse if this thread already exists, I cant find it! If you could give me a quick rundown or point me in the right direction I’d be most appreciative! Thank you for anytime and consideration!

I haven't tried every ability in the game, but the ones I've felt like actually make an Impact: 

Offense: 
Shifty
Dot
Sure Hands
Cutter
Workhorse
 

Defense: 
Quick Jump
Ballhawk
Robber
Aftershock (though probably not worth it anymore due to AP increase)

Both:
Workhorse
Recoup

dont sleep on robber for deep safetys

one ability that I like is recoup especially if they don't get workhouse
