Just saw the 89 ovr season 3 trophy players can get the token. IMO makes the SS the most valuable, 94 speed with 90 zone

Bryant looks like a beast. Unfortunately didnt get his 89 card but cant beat a free 94 speed receiver right now

This is a game changer for me! I now have a 95 Spread Option LG. :) My expectations were the 88's only based on EA's past decisions so I'm pleasantly surprised to see they allowed the 89's too.

Actually EA is the stupid one they said 88 would upgrade nothing about 89
People assumed because they said nothing 89 would upgrade too - it is just as CORRECT to assume that because they said nothing 89 would NOT upgrade
Saying nothing does not imply it WILL happen it can just as easily imply it will not happen
Given EA's lousy record for screwing people it was in fact more likely it would not happen

Apologies to all those people I told to not hold your breath. I will admit this was a pleasant surprise all though I wish they would've stated it and I would have got 1 or 2 89s instead of the little 25k I got for my tokens.

Another thing is first 2 seasons we only got 4 upgradeable players. so we were told the 88s but everyone also assumed cause of previous seasons they weren't going to make all but 2 cards upgradeable. it's annoying cause I wanted the wr but at 89 he wasn't worth it. I do have the safety though
