I think the 89s will be eligible for the token even though it hasn't been explicitly stated anywhere. The best options out of all of them are Revel, Nick Emmanwori, and Pat Bryant. I wouldn't bother with the rest unless you're a big fan of that player or something.

Guys I hate to say it, but yall setting up for disappointment. when they released season 3 they explicitly stated the 88s were upgradeable. the beck and the 89s weren't released until like 2 weeks ago and if they were upgradeable without saying anything they get so much flak for not mentioning it cause people would have bought cards assuming just the 88s were upgradeable and be mad about lack of communication, also the possibility of them having to do make rights cause of such an error it makes no sense. Also every season we have had has only had 4 upgradeable cards each season, so that should be the kicker to let you know where this is going. An if you need more clarification just go look at the season 3 release blog or twitch stream and you'll get your answer. they said nothing because they told everyone what to expect. them not clarifying is telling you that only what they said in the blog matters anything else is just wishful thinking.

Also before they released the 89s and beck everyone thought those cards were going to higher then 89, which should have been the case seeing how the 88s can use the token. I think because people saw the players were 89s that there's no way they would not be able to upgrade cause we waited for over half a season for a bunch of +1 cards that only 1 is really useful at the point of their release. those 89s are all but worthless unless your new.

I’m getting all of them minus Jackson and beck. don’t know if trophies roll over or even if its worth it if they roll over like madden for the boom or bust packs

Do we know if trophies carry over? None of these cards are appealing to me.. it's like this game has died. Nobody knows anything. Like other people have said... nothing was mentioned with the 89 releases. So it's possible they also get upgraded to a 94. 🤷‍♂️
