Man Coverage
Dev Note: We’ve heard your feedback around Man Coverage and have been actively investigating. We want to be diligent with our approach to ensure Man Coverage remains a viable defensive strategy, but is balanced. Our team has reviewed player data and social sentiment. After further testing, we’ve identified targeted issues that could have contributed cases of overly effective man coverage. To address this, you will find the following fixes in today's update:
- Pass Lead Tuning: Tuning to extend the default pass lead distance when throwing to a receiver running downfield.
- Route Running: Fixed an issue where Elite Route Runners were not playing the appropriate cut animation on Zig routes.
- WR/DB Jostle: Fixed an issue where Wide Receivers would not fully accelerate out of a jostle win.
- WR/DB Jostle: Tuned Jostle animations so Receivers can keep better separation from lower rated DBs.
- Man Press: Tuning to Man Press to increase the Penalty for shading in the wrong direction of the release.
General Fixes
- Fixed an issue where Illegal Forward Pass was called when the QB was partially behind the line of scrimmage.
- Fixed an issue where Combo Coverage would convert to Lock when in a press alignment.
