Nightmares Vol. 1 is targeted to go live on Friday, Oct. 17th at 1:30 PM ET. For the first time, we'll see a player that can be upgraded in CUT and MUT with progress transferring between the two. In tomorrow's update, we'll see many new player items, CPU/H2H events, sets, and more. Check out what we know about the new program below:

Nightmare Fuel
Nightmare Fuel is an alternate currency that can be earned during the Nightmares Program. It can be used to upgrade players, buy Ryan Shazier upgrade tokens, and other items in the Nightmare Fuel Shop. You can read more about Ryan Shazier and player upgrades below.

MUT/CUT Cross Game Player
*Cross game token grants may take up to 24 hours to process
Ryan Shazier will be coming to both CUT and MUT. Once the program is live, you'll receive a Welcome Pack with 82 OVR Ryan Shazier, who can be upgraded up to 92 OVR using Upgrade Tokens. These tokens can be bought using Nightmare Fuel or earned by completing objectives. Upgrade progress will sync between both games. Fully upgrade Nightmares Shazier by Halloween to earn a reward in MUT. Crossover ends on Nov. 6th.

Fright Night is a H2H event where you'll compete against other players for an exclusive reward player that refreshes each week. This week, you can earn 91 OVR Jerome Bettis in the event.

Nightmares Locker Sets
Lockers earned from this event will open on Halloween. Earn exclusive Halloween player rewards called Monstrosities. Lockers come in four sizes (S, M, L, XL) with XL lockers guaranteeing a 91 OVR Monstrosity.
Locker Sets can be completed with Dream Fragments. These Dream Fragments can be earned by playing the Sweet Dreams OT event and by completing objectives.

Sweet Dreams OT Event
Both teams get one drive to score a TD or a FG with a Nightmares twist. Playing in the OT Event will give you the following rewards:
- 0 Wins: 1,000 Coins
- 1 Win: 2,000 Coins
- 2 Wins: 5,000 Coins
- 3 Wins: 83+ OVR BND Nightmare Locker (S)
