We have three brand-new Legends who made their CUT 25 debut today. The LTD for today’s release is 96 OVR Sean Weatherspoon. He played for the Missouri Tigers from 2006-2009. In the 2008 season, Weatherspoon recorded 155 tackles, which was the second most in school history. He would later be drafted by the Atlanta Falcons 19th overall in the 2010 NFL Draft.
The Champions featured in today’s Legends release are 95 OVR Wes Welker and 95 OVR Cameron Dantzler. Wes Welker attended Texas Tech University from 2000-2003. He set the NCAA record for punt return yards in a career with 1,761 yards throughout his four years playing. In his senior season, Welker won the Mosi Tatupu Award, given to the best special teams player in college football.
