Three new exciting legends made their CUT debut today around 10:30 am ET, starting with one of the most explosive kick returners in college football history, we have 90 OVR Champion CJ Spiller. Spiller is an elusive type HB with 90 SPD, 90 ACC, 88 AGI, and 89 BTK. When I hear college football legend, a name that always comes to mind is CJ Spiller. Although he didn’t have the best NFL career, he was one of the greatest kick returners in NCAA history and still, to this day, holds the record for most kickoffs returned for a TD in a career.
To go alongside him from one of the most feared defenses in college football history, we have 90 OVR Champion Ed Reed from the U. Reed is zone type FS with 90 SPD, 89 ACC, 90 ZCV, and 80 MCV. Often referred to as one of the greatest defenses of all time, Ed Reed was a major part of the 2001 Miami Hurricanes and helped to lead them to a 12-0 record to go along with a National Championship. This led Reed to be drafted in the first round by the Baltimore Ravens, where he went on to become a Super Bowl champion and earn many individual awards in his Hall of Fame career.
To top it off with one of the most dominant interior linemen in recent memory, we have 91 OVR LTD Haloti Ngata. Ngata is a power rusher Defensive Tackle with 91 STR, 91 BSH, 89 PMV, and 80 FMV. Ngata attended Oregon University from 2003-2005, and despite it being a school that was very little known for its great Defensive Linemen, he was able to build a name for himself through his sheer size and absolute domination on the field. By 2005, Ngata was well known as one of the best defensive players in the nation and was able to have his most dominant season yet, earning himself Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year, making him the first in Oregon history. He was later inducted into the University of Oregon Hall of Fame in 2016.
If you are working on the 93 OVR DeSean Jackson set, you will need to add both Champions, CJ Spiller and Ed Reed to the set. If you have been keeping up with this set, there should only be four more players remaining after this week, meaning this 93 DeSean Jackson is getting very close to becoming attainable, so it’s just something you may want to prepare for in the coming weeks.
