There was also a new Campus Huddle blog released today with a ton of new info about the upcoming CFB 26 Dynasty and Team Builder modes. Today, I will be highlighting some of the more important features covered in today's blog post. If you'd like to check out the full Campus Huddle notes, click here.

Dynasty
Create your Coach
You can now step into the shoes of over 300 real-life coaches or design your own. By using customizable appearances and coaching styles, each coach can develop their unique identity on the field. You can now really feel the differences between the different coaching archetypes. Coach progression has also been changed from level 50 to level 100 to help provide a more rewarding progression experience. Remember, no coach can be great at everything, so make sure you're building the type of coach you want the most and adding coordinators that complement your strengths.

Transfer Portal
The unpredictability of the Transfer Portal is something they have worked on really highlighting in CFB 26 Dynasty mode. With around 2,000 players consistently in the pool, it should help add an element of chaos to this year's Dynasty mode. Managing player expectations has never been more crucial as players now have "dealbreakers" that can influence their decisions to stay or leave.

Recruiting
One of the best new features they have added, in my opinion, is the new location-based recruiting. Geography will play a much bigger role in the recruiting process, with the cost of a visit now being directly tied to how close that athlete is to your campus. There is also a new recruiting battle where if the recruit is close between two schools, those schools will race to earn that recruit. The number of recruits each year will be raised to 4,100, with elite talent being much rarer. There are also multiple quality-of-life improvements that have been made to make recruiting easier.

Trophy Room
The highly anticipated Trophy Room will be making its return in CFB 26 Dynasty mode. You will now be able to keep track of and highlight all your accomplishments and awards. Each new Dynasty you create will have its own dedicated Trophy Room.

Physical Abilities
As mentioned in the gameplay deep dive, there will be new mental and physical abilities this year. EA revealed today that with these new physical abilities, some of them will need two attributes to be at a certain level to unlock that ability, instead of just one attribute. The archetype system has also been overhauled to better represent the diversity of players in college football.

Custom Conferences and Protected Opponents
Looking to maintain certain rivalries year after year? Regardless of scheduling conflicts, with the updated custom conference feature, you will now be able to lock in protected opponents. This will ensure you play them each season.

Cross-Play Support
You will now be able to connect with friends and run up to a 32 team Dynasty regardless of their platform. College Football 26 supports cross-play between Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. This makes it easier than ever to team up and compete with friends.
Overall Improvements
- The number of teams in this year's Dynasty mode has expanded to 136 teams, with the additions of Missouri State and Delaware.
- You will now have the ability to look back through the history books and find things like past National Champions, past Conference Champions, and much more.
- New positions and archetypes to better align with today's game, such as changing Defensive Ends to Edge Rushers and Middle Linebacker to MIKE.
- Multiple Quality of Life improvements such as quick access to player info, quick access to team schedules, players' season stats shown everywhere, and much more.

Team Builder
Import
You will be able to import any teams from College Football 25 Team Builder directly over to College Football 26 Team Builder.
Overall Improvements
- Laid the foundation last year as a Beta mode, but will now be removing that Beta tag as the mode continues to grow and improve.
- The site has a completely new look and is 2x faster. Will also now work on a wider array of devices after performance updates.
- Increased the image upload limit from 10 images to 5 MB per team.
- New generic stadiums that can be used.

Conclusion
EA said the developers really took into account community feedback when creating this year's game and integrated suggestions from some of the most passionate players. They directly say in the blog that their one goal at the center is to "Satisfy the Core Community" because "This is THEIR Game". These are the kind of statements we love to see as a community, and it gets me even more excited for this year's release.
What are your thoughts on the Dynasty deep dive? Which new improvements are you most excited for? Did they miss anything you were hoping to see added?
