EA revealed today that Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith and Alabama's Ryan Williams will be headlining the cover of College Football 26 standard edition! This freshman wide receiver duo both had great seasons for their respective teams, earning them the privilege to headline this year's cover. Jeremiah Smith played a pivotal role in helping his Ohio State Buckeyes secure a National Championship this season and finished his freshman campaign with 76 catches, 1,315 yards, and 15 receiving touchdowns. Williams burst onto the scene this year for Alabama by making ridiculous catches, including a miraculous 75-yard touchdown with just over 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter to help his Crimson Tide take down second-ranked Georgia. He finished his freshman season with 48 catches, 865 yards, and 8 receiving touchdowns.
The Deluxe Edition cover was also revealed today, and features a mix of past and present players, coaches, mascots, and fans. The Deluxe cover features a wide range of players, including Nicholas Singleton, Reggie Bush, Tim Tebow, and many more. It also has multiple mascots, fans, and coaches, including the national champion Ohio State Buckeyes head coach, Ryan Day.
