Look, I run triple option (I also know how to pass) as a nms player. I get clowned on by a lot of people, but it still works. Are there any thoughts on it, good or bad, all suggestions taken.
Id love to have you do a write up on tips and tricks, as well as a lineup that you believe is great for the option. Ive always been interested but have never committed. Id hate to just run a triple option with high overall guys, but im not sure what secondary attributes are important. Downfield blocking? Agility? Acceleration? does finesse or power blocking benefit the triple option more?
People abuse hot routes try to sprint out to change angles on throwing zones and spam op routes so I dont see anything wrong with running a light offensive scheme, its just not the norm so I bet people get frustrated if they can't stop it. The only negative is the quarter length being so low running the ball can get you in trouble.
I like the triple option, my only thoughts are that they messed up pitching because half the time I try to pitch out the ball levitates like 15 ft away and then sucks back to my QBs hand. I do love a clean handoff on veer when it hits though

I got u, here:
1. Run Army or Navy playbook, use flexbone tight.
2. Look for “R” icon on top of player, if he comes in u keep it, stays handoff (U need practice for consistency)
3. Spin move, spin move, spin move, it’s broken for it
4. Try to never keep with qb out of flexbone triple option, pitch or handoff
5. Mix in a bomb play out of same formation, I use corners out of flexbone tight
6. No huddle is good for it
Important attributes:
QB: Speed, Acceleration, Deep throw accuracy
RB: Speed, Acceleration, COD, Spin Move, Impact Blocking is a bonus if u can find it
TE: Height, Impact Blocking, CIT, Run Blocking
OT: Acceleration, Weight, Run Blocking
OG: Same as OT
C: Same as OT
WR: Don’t need them
Btw, yeah people get triggered by it, have fun!
Edit: I run nms, so u don’t need high overall at all, just focus on main positions
Reason: Added something

Frfr, QB glitch is annoying
I personally don’t run the triple option but have no problem if my opponent runs it. I especially like that there are a fair amount of bad pitches in the game just like in real life. It feels balanced & fair.

bet bro
I dont run it but I do appreciate those who run it. it's not the simplest thing to learn and be good at, as I have ran into a few guys running it. I don't have a hard time with the scheme, but a couple guys I've played knew how to run it to a T and while I still won it was one of those type of games where you have to just admire the skill/patience of the user and the beauty of a well-oiled triple option scheme as well as needing absolute focus when facing good users. being down in the 4th against any good user with success running the ball will almost certainly require you to run commit.
