in the Prices tab there is a section for "Cheapest Training by Overall". The last column is Target Price. Am I correct in assuming if the player you are considering selling is over that price it is better to auction for coins and if they are under that price it is better to quick sell for coins?
The target price is the lowest price a card of that overall is selling for right now. Meaning if you wanted to quick sell for training (not coins) right now you should buy cards at or below that price. The prices will obviously fluctuate with the market and you might value coins over training. But yes, if you want training and his price is more than 1.11x (market tax) the target price, than you should technically sell the card and buy a cheaper card of the same overall. You also should only quick sell for training cards that have low training ratios as it the best "value". All of this is only if you want/need training.
