Can't stop the run to save my life in squads. What are yall doing for run D? I get right next to the RB, get no tackle animation, and watch as he cuts on a dime then gets 10+ more yards.

4 important ways to help stop the run.

1.) To effectively do it against good online players you need a run package.   DT and LBs who are “run stoppers“.  Sub them in during running downs/situations.

2.) If you get stuck in a dime package and the O is in hurry up, you may need to burn a time out or you’ll get gashed with the run.

3.) At times you have to sellout and guess ‘underneath‘ and ‘run middle/right/left’ during pre snap adjustments.   Should also shift your line to the opposite side the RB is lined up.   85% of runs the rb goes across the qb after handoff.

4.) Don‘t hit stick, spam A for sure tackles.

Lastly, remember it’s give and take.   You sacrifice one for the other.   I’d rather stop the run and force my opponent to beat me through the air.

waste all my AP on aftershocks for my LBs and hope to knock their RBs speed down enough to make them pass lol

smart if that's what your scheme is. I stacked my WRs for the same reason. Went one game where someone hit crabtree on my first drive and he didn't come back in the game until the 4th lol. I enjoy depth being a factor in games.
