Hi all,

Firstly sorry if this is the wrong place for a tech Q - but it does only relate to CFB 26 so figured it would be ok.

The past 2 weeks i have had heaps of problems logging into Ultimate team.

I get EA server message errors but when I look online the servers are up.  Its happening every time I try to log into Ultimate team.  Pics of messages will be below.  Note, I always fully and properly quit out of the game every time.  This problem does not happen on Madden or any other game and once I’m in it’s fine and doesn’t drop out.  Also I have a mate who plays locally and is having zero issues so it’s not a local server issue.

I have tried the following:

Restarting the console - no effect

Physically Power cycling the console (holding Xbox button on console 10 seconds) - no effect

Physical power cycle and remove power cable 10 seconds - this works half of the time.

It’s generally taking 15 minutes to log into Ultimate team- extra annoying for Mirage when you have to back out to get a mirage token pack.

Things I’m considering but want advice please:

Uninstall the game then reinstall.  I’m worried I might lose stuff in the game ? Coins / cards etc 

Reset the console “choosing keep my games and apps”.  According to AI (ugh) this can fix persistent issues, freezing etc ?

Any advice (where you are certain) would be greatly appreciated.

Has it  worked pretty successfully before this? I know my worker router has more issues than my home router (both wired) and it works better now (with some network settings I did on my PS5) but I don't trust it if im in an event that dings me with a loss if I lose. I get these same messages at work and it makes me want to throw my controller through the TV.

Don't forget...Game 7 tongiht  Sabres vs. Canadiens!!!!

Yeah this is its first and only issue - though I’ve only had it about 8 months.

I have the day off work to watch it tomorrow !
